Star to delay home delivery of most Monday editions

Star report

To ensure the safety of our employees and our contracted newspaper distributors, we have decided to delay home delivery of Monday's print edition of The Indianapolis Star for most customers due to the severe weather and dangerous cold temperatures.

In the majority of our distribution areas, we will deliver Monday's edition of the Star with Tuesday's print edition.

Subscribers can stay up to date on the local area weather conditions, as well as receive all the complete local news and information normally delivered in the print edition by visiting IndyStar.com. Additionally, the electronic edition of The Star will also be available on IndyStar.com. We plan to make print editions available at retail locations on Monday morning as roads allow.

Karen Crotchfelt, president and publisher, released this statement: "We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our loyal readers who depend on The Star each morning. We take our responsibility to deliver the Star 365 days a year very seriously. However, the safety of our carriers and employees is our number one priority. Unfortunately, the extraordinary weather conditions dictated a prudent course of action."

If you have any questions about delivery of the Star, please call (888) 357-7827.
