Teen runaway reported by Carmel police located

A 16-year-old girl reported missing last week by the Carmel Police Department has been located.

Gabrielle Miller had returned to her Indianapolis home and was later released to her grandmother's care, a news release from the Carmel Police Department said Monday.

Prior to her return she was last seen in the area of 99th Street and Michigan Road in Carmel.

She was in a car with her parents Tuesday when she jumped out of the vehicle and ran away on foot.
