Now that Glenn Robinson III will play on his third NBA team in only two seasons, he may find stability and a place to grow.

Robinson III, selected 40th in the 2014 draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves, met with reporters on Tuesday after signing a three-year deal with the Pacers. He expressed excitement about returning to his home state (Robinson played high school basketball at Lake Central in Northwest Indiana) and possibly finding minutes in the Pacers' rotation next season as a defensive wing (waived in March, the Philadelphia 76ers claimed Robinson and he appeared in 35 games his rookie season).

But the best selling point about becoming a Pacer has to be the mentorship Robinson should find in Paul George, who he has long admired.

"I look at guys like Paul George," Robinson said. "I want to be that type of player one day. He has the ability to play both sides of the floor. So I think I can pick up and learn a lot from him."

Robinson's not just kissing up. Back during his days at the Univ. of Michigan, when college kids show little to no filter when talking about NBA players (Looking at you, Larry Nance, Jr.), Robinson gushed about George.

Robinson surely must've been watching Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals, when George scored 22 points to even the series against the Miami Heat, when he tweeted this thought:

A few months later, when George signed his max contract extension, Robinson responded the best way imaginable... with an emoji.

Since Robinson has joined the fraternity of NBA players, it appears that the two have struck up a relationship offline. The pair share the same agency. Also, before the 2014 NBA Draft, Robinson said he came to Indianapolis for a game and met George. As peers, and now teammates, when Robinson tweets at George, he gets a reply.

"I'm glad to be here and I know that he's going to be a vet to me," Robinson said of George. "Be a mentor, a guy I can look up to and talk to."
