1. Thousands gathered to remember slain IU student Hannah Wilson.

More than 1,500 students gathered on the IU campus in Bloomington while hundreds more came together at the Indiana Elite Cheer Center in Noblesville to remember the IU senior. "She was the kind of girl who made everybody feel special," former teammate Maggie Hadley said.

Wilson's body was found in Brown County Friday. She was killed by blunt-force trauma to the head. Daniel E. Messel, 49, of Bloomington, faces a preliminary charge of murder in connection with her death.

2. Yogi Ferrell will stay with IU for his senior season.

The IU star cancelled a formal announcement in the wake of Hannah Wilson's death, but the university confirmed via press release that he'll be returning for his senior year.
