Pacers release preseason schedule

The Indiana Pacers released their preseason schedule on Thursday. They will play three games at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, one in Fort Wayne and three on the road.

The preseason opener will be on October 3 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse against the New Orleans Pelicans. Indiana will also play home games against the Orlando Magic and Detroit Pistons.

The Pacers will return to Fort Wayne for a preseason contest for the first time since 2008; they'll take on the Charlotte Hornets at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum on Oct. 22.

TIcket sales for preseason games will be announced at a later date, according to the Pacers.

Indiana's road games will be against the Pistons in Detroit, the Cavaliers in Cleveland and the Bulls in Chicago.
