15 years after he first took the checkered flag, Montoya ran a gutsy and tough race that saw him edging out fierce competition from Will Power, Scott Dixon and Charlie Kimball. Here are the full race results.

2. David Letterman called the Indy 500 'Late Show' car the 'highlight of my career.'

Oriol Servia's No. 32 car didn't win the race, but Letterman was honored by the homage all the same.
