Original story, May 29, 2015: 2 teens arrested in Fountain Square double homicide

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police officers have arrested two teenagers in connection with a February double homicide near Fountain Square.

Detectives on Thursday arrested Justin Kasten and Sean Wright, both 18, on suspicion of attempted robbery and felony murder, according to an IMPD press release.

Police obtained arrest warrants for the men in connection with a doubling shooting in the 1000 block of Harlan Street on Feb. 17, the release said.

Officers were called to the area around 8 p.m. that evening and found a 17-year-old suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound to the neck.

While medics attended to the teenager, bystanders flagged them down and alerted them to two more gunshot victims lying in the street on Harlan, police said.

Both victims, Daniel White, 22, and Devin Calloway,19, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Kasten and Wright are held in the Marion County Jail without bond.
