After collecting eight trophies at the Billboard Music Awards on May 17, Taylor Swift has the chance to be associated with an auto-racing winner this weekend.

IndyCar standout Tony Kanaan will drive a car adorned with Swift's image during the Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix, an event that features one race on Saturday and one race on Sunday. The "doubleheader" airs each day at 3:30 p.m. on ABC.

Two cars in last weekend's Indianapolis 500 featured celebrity designs: Justin Wilson drove with the Rolling Stones on the side of his No. 25 ride and Oriol Servia's No. 32 paid tribute to David Letterman.

Justin Wilson drove this Rolling Stones car in the 2015 Indianapolis 500.
Oriol Servia drove this "Late Show with David Letterman" car in the 2015 Indianapolis 500.

Swift makes recordings for Big Machine Label Group, a company founded by high-profile racing enthusiast Scott Borchetta. Swift's "1989" tour visits Detroit's Ford Field on Saturday. Bankers Life Fieldhouse will host the Indianapolis date of the tour on Sept. 16.

Kanaan, the 2013 Indy 500 champion, drives for Chip Ganassi Racing Teams.

"It's really cool to have Taylor Swift and Big Machine Records on the No. 10 car in Detroit," Kanaan said in a statement. "Big Machine Records has been a really good partner for both myself and the team, and I think it's great that we get to promote their biggest stars out on the race track."

In 2014, Big Machine artist Brantley Gilbert placed his image on the Indy 500 car of driver Sage Karam. At the Belle Isle Grand Prix, Karam's car will feature Big Machine trio Rascal Flatts on its rear wing.

In 2001, Aerosmith promoted its "Just Push Play" album on the Indy 500 car of driver Jeff Ward.
