Indiana Pacers forward David West (21) clears the ball from the lane in the second half of their game Saturday, March 14, 2015, evening at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The Pacers lost to the Celtics 89-93.

Looks like David West really is more interested in titles than money.

Multiple reports say the former Indiana Pacers forward will join the San Antonio Spurs, likely for the veteran's minimum of $1.4 million.

West, 34, declined an option to stay with the Pacers for $12.6 million because he wanted a chance to win a championship.

West averaged 14 points and seven rebounds per game over four seasons with the Pacers, two of which ended in Eastern Conference finals defeats to the Miami Heat. Last season, a myriad of injuries left the Pacers just outside the playoffs.

He joins a team that added All-Star power forward LaMarcus Aldridge and re-signed Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green to big-money deals to make a run at the franchise's sixth championship.

The deal cannot be signed until Thursday.

Paul George posted the following accompanying a photo of he, West and Roy Hibbert:

Mannnnnnn O man! My big bro and the big OG DWest! Couldn't thank y'all enough for the good times and helping me thru my bad ones! I don't feel as if yall left me BUT that you prepared me for this moment.. And THIS moment is my opportunity to help lead this team!
