Purdue Boilermakers forward Basil Smotherman and teammate Bryson Scott celebrate Purdue's double digit lead over Indiana in the first half. Purdue hosted Indiana at Mackey Arena Wednesday, January 28, 2015.

Former Purdue guard Bryson Scott will visit Jacksonville University on Tuesday.

The 6-1 Scott, a 2013 Indiana All-Star and former top-100 recruit out of Fort Wayne Northrop, has also visited IPFW, IUPUI and Wisconsin-Green Bay. Scott's father, Brent Scott, confirmed the Jacksonville visit.

There is a local tie at Jacksonville as the program is led by former IPFW coach Tony Jasick. Former IPFW and Butler assistant Dan Bere is also on Jasick's staff.

Scott's transfer decision could come following the visit. He averaged 6.2 points and 2.6 rebounds as a freshman at Purdue but saw his minutes diminish as a sophomore. He scored 2,042 points in high school.

After sitting out one year as a transfer, Scott will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
