Indiana Pacers' head coach Frank Vogel calls out a play against the Dallas Mavericks at Bankers Life Fieldhouse Saturday October 18, 2014.

Pacers coach Frank Vogel joined the NBA TV broadcast team during halftime of Indiana's summer league contest against one of the Orlando Magic's squads. He spoke about Paul George, Indiana's first-round draft pick Myles Turner, and the new-look Pacers.

On Paul George going into the season after recovering from the broken leg that derailed nearly all of his 2014-15 campaign:

"He looks really good, he seems to have taken another step in terms of his recovery process. Obviously he got in some games toward the end of last year ... we knew he wasn't going to have his full range and explosiveness, and he was favoring his leg a little bit. Watching his workouts now, just his individual workouts, he seems to have lost a lot of that in terms of favoring it. ... He's regaining a lot of that explosiveness, a good sign."

On the impressive play of Turner in summer league action so far:

"It's early still, and obviously he's off to a great start in the summer league. ... He's got such a unique combination of skills with the ability to shoot with range, but also you've seen him dominate the game on the defensive end with his shot-blocking. ... We're really high on him."

On new style of play:

"We're going to be a different team than we've been in the past, and that's something I'm really excited about. We're going to try to get up and down the floor a lot more than we have, be more of a running team, play with more pace. But also playing Paul George at the 4 some, maybe a lot, could give us an entirely different look, with the ability to just space the floor and not always play with two bigs the way we have in the past. And I think it's going to open up a lot of things for a lot of guys."
