You're not a kid anymore. The mortgage/your boss/those darned gray hairs that keep popping up are proof of that.

But just because you're not heading back to school in the fall doesn't mean you should skip out on summertime fun. That's where we come in.

Inspired by our list of 50 things every Indiana kid should do this summer, we put together some ideas for the 21 and over crowd.

Whether salsa dancing or bocce ball, antique shopping or cocktails on the water, here are 50 things every adult should do for the best summer ever.

1. Head to B's Po Boy for bites, beers and bocce.

2. Host a backyard/rooftop/balcony clambake.

3. Join a free lunchtime Workout Wednesday class on Georgia Street.

4. Track down hidden gems at the Indiana Landmarks Treasure Hunt and sidewalk yard sale.

5. Hit up the Bloody Mary bar during Sunday Fundays at Flatwater Restaurant with DJ Helicon.

6. Book a mid-morning massage at The Conrad's Evan Todd Spa and then sit by the indoor pool all day.

7. Rent a kayak on the canal and race the pedal boats. Humblebrag about how sore your arms are the next day

8. Sip cold champagne and nibble blue-cheese-loaded kettle chips at Tastings.

9. Enjoy a sexified bingo experience at the White Rabbit Cabaret's "The Burlesque Bingo Bango Show."

10. Practice your best fan dance in the mirror at home so you can get on the scoreboard at an Indianapolis Indians game.

11. Feast on roast pork plus 40 wines and whiskeys at Whiskey, Wine and Swine.

12. Visit the Beer and Wine Exhibition at the State Fair, then find those fried cheese curds or whatever other fried thing you want.

13. Pick up some fresh corn, tomatoes and greens at the City Market Original Farmer's Market or your neighborhood farmers market.

14. Taste history at Indulge, Imbibe, Imagine, a food event where dishes are inspired by Indiana landmarks.

15. Get high with swanky cocktails and live music at Rooftop Thursdays.

16. See what smoked brisket, craft beer and classical music have in common at Symphony on the Prairie.

17. Sip a Sazerac at Plat 99 after work while noshing on tasty truffle popcorn.

18. Go to an Indy Eleven game and experience the shaking of the metal bleachers at Carroll Stadium when they score.

19. Order the appetizer platter and a bottle of crisp white Turkish wine at Bosphorus. Thank us later.

20. Head over to the Bat Cave and practice your swing in the batting cages. Then play some Skee-Ball since you are really just a big kid at heart.

21. Donate your old books and pick out some hot summer reads at Indy Reads Books.

22. Go on an art and furniture foraging expedition at the Midland Arts & Antiques Market.

23. Go old-school Broad Ripple and check out vintage vinyl, or even a live in-store show, at Indy CD And Vinyl.

24. Head to the Jazz Kitchen on a Thursday night for some free salsa lessons. Once you've shaped up, dance the night away, Latin style.

25. Hit Georgia Street for Happy Hour Thursdays or Food Truck Fridays.

26. Try a new restaurant — while saving money — during Devour Downtown or Chow Down Midtown.

27. Get a taste of the local brewery scene with one of these tours: Indy Brew Bus, Brewery Tours of Indianapolis or the Brewsline.

30. Bounce off a few calories at Sky Zone by signing up for a Skyrobics class or a round of Sky Slam.

31. Have a perfectly poured pint of Guinness at Nine Irish Brothers while trying to polish off a full Irish breakfast and an order of the pots of gold in one sitting. (Spoiler alert, you can't.)

32. Take the Big Ugly Challenge at Bub's Burgers & Ice Cream to earn a spot on the wall of fame.

33. Head to Eagle Creek after work on a Wednesday for a guided evening paddle trip.

34. Check out the cool food + drink developments on Speedway's Main Street.

35. Check out the White River Paddle Wheel Boat excursions.

36. Pair up your love of books with your enjoyment of craft beer through the Indianapolis Public Library's adult reading program.

37. Hear a local band in a local venue such as The Warehouse in Carmel. The machine shop turned music and art space is near the Monon.

38. Leave the city and head to the patio at Taxman Brewing in Bargersville. Sit back and enjoy some artisanal beer and a cone of frites.

39. Sit on the patio at Scotty's Brewhouse in Carmel and listen to the Jazz on the Monon concerts.

40. Grab your friends and take to the Indy Wine Trail featuring seven wineries.

41. Go duckpin bowling at the Fountain Square Theatre Building.

42. Enjoy a Saturday evening gallery walk in the Carmel Arts & Design District.

43. Experience outdoor theater during Shakespeare in the Park at Garfield Park.

44. Experience al fresco cinema during the Summer Nights film series at the Indianapolis Museum of Art.

45. Turn back the clock and see the Indianapolis Blues play "vintage base ball" using 1860s rules.

46. Cap a weekend by catching a free jazz or blues concert Sunday afternoon in Watkins Park.

47. Take a road trip to an iconic home of bluegrass music, Brown County's Bill Monroe Music Park & Campground.

48. Paint the town red after dinner at Indy's only revolving restaurant, the Eagle's Nest at Hyatt Regency.

49. Take a ride in a Yellow Rose Carriage after a long stroll Downtown.
