FISHERS — Fishers police arrested six suspects following robberies at several Walmart stores in the area. Police are still searching for one suspect.

According to the Fishers police Department, a group of seven suspects robbed the Beech Grove Walmart as well as the Walmart at S. 7245 U.S. 31 in Indianapolis.

Associates at those Walmart stores reported the robberies and alerted police that at least one of the suspects was armed.

At that point in time, IMPD notified the Fishers Police Department and Fishers police alerted the Walmart store on 96th Street.

A few minutes after the warning, employees at the Walmart on 96th Street called police to tell them the suspects may be in the store.

Police responded and all but two suspects fled the scene. The two suspects that stayed were both females, and one of those females is a juvenile.

Two males fled through back door, and they were apprehended near 116th Street and I-69.

Two females and a male driver fled the scene in a white truck. The male driver bailed from the car near I-465 and Emerson Avenue. The two females stayed in the truck, and they were arrested.

The male driver is still on the loose.
