There were eight days of random and brutal violence.

On Nov. 3, Larry Taylor, 18, raped a woman while he and two accomplices burglarized an apartment, court documents allege.

The next day, Taylor shot and killed a man, court documents allege, because he only had $10 when Taylor robbed him.

And on Nov. 10, Taylor is accused of shooting and killing Amanda Blackburn, a mother, pregnant woman and pastor's wife, in a senseless act that garnered international attention for its randomness.

It's the Nov. 4 killing that is attracting fresh attention for Taylor, as the violent felonies he faces continue to mount.

Prosecutors on Monday filed charges of murder and robbery against Taylor in connection with the Nov. 4 shooting death of Rolando Gonzalez-Hernandez.

Gonzalez-Hernandez, 26, was found lying on the ground next to his Chevrolet Trailblazer in a parking lot at the La Joya Apartments, in the 4500 block of Candletree Circle, a probable cause affidavit says. He was killed with a bullet to the head.

The affidavit cites multiple informants who told detectives that Taylor told people he would "hit a lick," a street term for a robbery, at La Joya Apartments.

Taylor told an informant that he shot a man after taking $10 from his wallet, the affidavit says. He later showed an informant a news clip about Gonzalez-Hernandez's shooting, the document says.

Cell phone records show that Taylor was in the area of La Joya Apartments during the shooting, the affidavit says.

The incident is now one of three pending felony cases against Taylor. He also faces pending misdemeanor charges of public nudity and public indecency.

Court documents allege Taylor raped a woman in Westlake Apartments on Nov. 3 after he and Jalen Watson, 21, burglarized her apartment.

The woman told police she was alone and taking a shower when two men entered her home.

Watson pointed a gun at the woman, ordered her out of the shower and instructed her to lay face down on the bedroom floor, according to court documents. Watson was rifling through the apartment, prosecutors said, while Taylor held a gun to the woman's head and sexually assaulted her.

That's "not what we're here for, don't do that," Watson told Taylor, according to the probable cause affidavit.

The case closely mirrors details of the burglary of Blackburn's home, though prosecutors are not alleging that the 28-year-old woman was raped.

Court documents allege Taylor shot and killed Blackburn after he and Watson burglarized the unlocked home. A third man, Diano Gordon, is accused in two burglaries committed in the neighborhood prior to the slaying.

Blackburn's killing drew widespread sympathy, as well as fear in the days following the killing. She and her husband Davey moved to Indianapolis from South Carolina to start the Resonate Church.

The prosecutor’s office wouldn’t comment on if Taylor could face future charges in any other crimes.
