Was Super Bowl 50 Peyton Manning's last game? If so, it's one terrific way to go out.

Manning's Denver Broncos beat the Carolina Panthers 24-10, marking his 200th victory (regular season and playoffs included), passing Brett Favre for the most in NFL history.

Will Manning retire?

"I'll take some time to reflect," Manning said on CBS after the game but before revealing something about his immediate future. "I'll drink a lot of Budweiser tonight."

When CBS' Jim Nantz asked a similar question during the presentation of the Lombardi Trophy, Manning invoked his Indianapolis Colts coach, Tony Dungy: "I got some good advice from Tony Dungy. He said, 'Don't make make an emotional decision (right after a game).'"

Manning was 13-of-23 for 141 yards and an interception. He was sacked five times.

His career Super Bowl numbers are 103-of-155 passing for 1,001 yards with three touchdowns and five interceptions. The victory gives him a 2-2 Super Bowl record, and 14-13 in the postseason.

Defensive lineman Von Miller earned MVP honors by forcing two Cam Newton fumbles, one recovered for a touchdown and the other setting up the final touchdown.

Super Bowl 50 updates:

Broncos force another Panthers punt. Denver ball at its 37.

C.J. Anderson scores from 2 yards with 3:08 remaining. Two-point conversion is good. Broncos take a 24-10 lead. Panthers have two timeouts remaining.

Von Miller strip-sacks Cam Newton and the Broncos recover inside the Panthers 5-yard line with 4 minutes to go.

Teams trade three-and-out possessions. Panthers ball at their 24 with 4:51 remaining.

Another three-and-out. Manning is 1-of-2 for 2 yards on the drive before a punt. Panthers ball with 9 minutes to go at their 28.

Graham Gano, who earlier bounced a field goal try off an upright, hits from 39 yards with 10:21 remaining. The Panthers trail the Broncos 16-10. Defense rules in this game: Carolina's Cam Newton has been sacked four times and the Panthers have three turnovers. Denver's Peyton Manning has been sacked five times and the Broncos have committed two turnovers.

The ball is knocked from Manning's hands for a strip sack for the second time in three plays, and the Panthers recover this time at midfield. Kony Ealy registers sack No. 3 on the play.

On the first play of the fourth quarter, he completes a 16-yard pass to Emmanuel Sanders:

THIRD QUARTER: Broncos 16, Panthers 7. Manning is 11-of-20 for 123 yards and an interception.

Manning in the third quarter: 2-of-4, 47 yards

Denver registers its fifth sack on Carolina's Cam Newton, forcing a punt. Broncos get the ball at their 31 in the last minute of the third quarter.

Broncos intercept a deflected pass, but can't go anywhere. Kony Ealy, who has an interception, sacks Manning for the second time.

Manning hits Emmanuel Sanders twice for a total of 47 yards before the drive stalls. Brandon McManus' 30-yard field goal with 8:18 left in the third quarter makes it 16-7.

A 45-yard Ted Ginn Jr. reception sets up the Panthers in Denver territory on the first drive of the second half. Graham Gano's 44-yard field goal try hits the upright and bounces off as the Broncos keep a 13-7 lead.

The more you know:

HALFTIME: Broncos 13, Panthers 7. Peyton Manning: 9-of-16, 76 yards, interception

Manning in the second quarter: 2-of-7, 15 yards, interception

C.J. Anderson carries for 34 yards two plays after the Broncos recover the Carolina fumble. But Kony Ealy intercepts Peyton Manning and returns it to the Carolina 39. Manning threw one interception in each of his previous Super Bowl appearances. The Panthers don't take advantage and go three-and-out.

Panthers get a first down via a third Broncos personal foul, but on the next play Denver forces a fumble and takes over at the Broncos 40 by Danny Trevathan (who hit Andrew Luck on the play that resulted in a lacerated kidney earlier this season) with 6:32 left in the first half.

Denver's Jordan Norwood returns a punt a Super Bowl-record 61 yards to the Carolina 14. Manning completes a pass for 7 yards, but the Broncos have to settle for a 33-yard field goal with 6:58 left in the first half. Denver leads 13-7.

Carolina challenges again, and Peyton Manning is ruled down by contact for a sack. On the field, the play was ruled an incomplete pass. On a similar-looking play earlier in the playoffs, Manning was ruled live on a play that resulted in a long Broncos gain. Two incompletions later, the Broncos punt and the Panthers take over at midfield. That's three straight Denver three-and-out drives.

Something Colts fans won't want to see:

Jonathan Stewart dives in from 1 yard to cap a nine-play, 73-yard drive. Carolina pulls within 10-7 of the Broncos with 11:25 left in the first half. Denver's Aqib Talib, who poked Colts tight  end Dwayne Allen in the eye earlier this season, got two personal fouls on the drive.

First quarter

First quarter stats: 7-of-9 for 61 yards, a drive leading to a field goal.

Manning completes a pass for 7 yards, but a sack produces a three-and-out. Panthers get the ball at their 27 with 1:15 left in the first quarter.

Denver gets the ball back at its 13 with 3:13 left in the first quarter after a Carolina punt.

Shortly after a Panthers challenge on a pass play is denied, Broncos defensive end Von Miller sacks Panthers QB Cam Newton, jarring the ball loose. The Broncos' Malik Jackson recovers in the end zone, and they take a 10-0 lead with 6:27 left in the firs quarter.

Manning goes 2-of-2 on his second second drive for 7 yards, but the Broncos go three-and-out. He 6-of-8 for 54 yards.

Broncos get the ball back after a Panthers three-and-out. 9:19 remains in the first quarter.

The first play from scrimmage went much better than two years ago: 18-yard completion to tight end Owen Daniels. He goes 4-of-6 for 47 yards on the drive, which results in a 34-yard Brandon McManus field goal. Broncos lead the Panthers 3-0, Carolina's first deficit this postseason.

Colts defensive lineman Billy Winn may have been inconvenienced. (Take it up with the state legislature.)

Pregame

Coin toss: Panthers won and  deferred. The Broncos get the ball first.

In pregame ceremonies, three-time Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady of the New England Patriots was introduced. He got booed.

Too much Manning on TV? No way

Manning became one of sports' biggest pitchmen over his 18-year career. Here are a couple of highlights and a song inspired by him.

UNITED WAY PROMO: After Manning won SB 41 with the Colts, he hosted "Saturday Night Live" and produced this spoof of the NFL's United Way efforts in the community.

'OMAHALLELUJAH': National Public Radio's "Prairie Home Companion" pays homage to Manning's signature audible call, while mentioning his time in Indianapolis and a certain recent report about him. The song begins at the 7:30 mark.

'CUT THAT MEAT': An early Manning nationwide ad featured him as the fan.
