Denver Broncos’ Peyton Manning spoke during a news conference after the NFL Super Bowl 50 football game against the Carolina Panthers, Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016, in Santa Clara, Calif.

Two updates:

Peyton Manning celebrated at Disneyland Monday… which raises the question, whatever happened to Super Bowl winners saying “I’m going to Disneyland! (or, Disney!)” after winning the Super Bowl? The Orlando Sentinel has the answer: That commercial started with Giants QB Phil Simms after the 1987 Super Bowl. He got $75,000 for uttering the words, according to SBNation.com. The ad still appears after every Super Bowl, except for 2005.

It’s unclear why the ad wasn’t done that year, but SBNation notes that the NFL was still reeling from the previous Super Bowl's Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction.

Left Hand Brewing Co. in Colorado is offering Peyton Manning — and anyone else there — a free pint of beer in exchange for an empty bottle or can of Budweiser from 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. Tuesday. Company spokeswoman Emily Armstrong said: “We believe that our quarterback in Colorado deserves better and this craft brew is for you.”

Here's the previously published "5 things" list ...

Peyton Manning likes Budweiser. He mentioned beer twice Sunday night shortly after winning his second Super Bowl. When CBS reporter Tracy Wolfson asked whether he would retire he responded: “I’ll take some time to reflect. I’ve got a couple of priorities first. I want to go kiss my wife and my kids. I want to go hug my family. I’m going to drink a lot of Budweiser tonight, Tracy, I promise you that.” During the trophy ceremony, he again mentioned a desire to consume beer.

Here are five things to know about Peyton and beer:

Budweiser? Here are 5 beers Peyton Manning should drink instead

1. He wasn’t paid to mention the beer, according to Budweiser:

2. $3.2 million — that's how much Peyton Manning’s references to Budweiser are worth to the beer company in free advertising, according to Marketwatch.com, which cited Apex MB Analytics, a sponsorship analytics agency. Plus, some priceless social media: 265,000 Tweets within 12 hours of the start of the game according to The Washington Post, citing Amobee Brand Intelligence.

Forget the numbers, Manning is the Super Bowl's biggest winner

3.  Manning owns shares in two Anheuser-Busch InBev wholesalers in his native Louisiana, according to Beer Business Daily, an industry publication.

Will Peyton Manning retire with a Super Bowl title?

4. This wasn’t the first time Manning brought up Bud after a victory. After 2014 playoff win, Manning said in a news conference: “What’s weighing on my mind is how soon I can get a Bud Light in my mouth.”

Another beverage he likes? Gatorade. Did you see when they introduced him as a former Super Bowl MVP before the game? He was guzzling Gatorade while sitting in front of cases of (yep) Gatorade. He has an endorsement deal with Gatorade, according to Forbes.

Doyel: Peyton Manning isn't what you think; he's better

5. NFL players aren’t supposed to endorse alcoholic products, according to league rules. The NFL has its own beer deal: Bud Light signed an agreement to continue sponsoring the NFL through the 2022 Super Bowl. The NFL will get $1.4 billion from Bud Light, Fortune.com reported when the deal was done in November. Retired athletes, of course, can endorse alcoholic products.
