Cute alert! Sleeping boy's photos with Santa are the best

These photos scream season's greetings.

Donnie Walters, 40, shared pictures on Facebook of his 6-month-old son sleeping with Santa at a mall in Evansville, Ind.,  all snuggled up on a big green chair.

Underneath Santa's arm is a copy of The Night Before Christmas, making it seem like the pair fell asleep as Santa read to him.

"After falling asleep in line waiting, Santa asked us not to wake him and the outcome was the cutest thing I've ever seen," the Donnie's Daddy Daycare Facebook post said.

So far, the photos, which were taken at Eastland Mall and posted on Nov. 26, have been liked 371,000 times and shared over 195,000.

"Everyone has been very kind. Most comments referred to how much the picture has brighten their day," Walters told USA TODAY Network.

Apparently, it isn't the first time this Santa has taken a photo with a sleeping child. Walters recalls that he received a photo of when they "did the same exact shot back in 1997."
