Brownsburg is hosting a three-game boys basketball shootout on Saturday. Here's a look at the schedule and the teams:

Covington vs. Manual, 3 p.m.: After posting a 40-4 record the last two seasons, Covington has a new coach in Adam Ballard and several new players. The Trojans are 2-1 so far, including a win over Western Boone. Manual, 1-0 after a win over Beech Grove, is also a new-look team under Donnie Bowling. The Redskins are led by senior guards Keyshawn Bess and Robert Johnson and newcomers Couvesier McCulley and Cameron Sembley (juniors) and Tristan Popa (senior).

NorthWood vs. Fishers, 4:45 p.m.: This should be a great test for Fishers, which notched a 54-point win over Shortridge in the opener. The Tigers are led by seniors Cameron Wolter (20 points in the opener) and Lance Dollison and should be among the area's top teams this season. NorthWood, a 3A program, was 23-3 last year and reached the regional final. Four starters return from that team, led by Dakiyron Fox (16 ppg), Braxton Linville (15.5 ppg, 7 assists) and Vincent Miranda (14.7 ppg).

Brownsburg vs. Fort Wayne South Side, 6:30 p.m.: Brownsburg has a lot of new faces this season and coming off a 66-45 loss to Lawrence Central is in its first game. Senior Adrian Chapman had 14 points in the opener and freshman Cameron Alford had 12 points and four rebounds. Junior Landon Hall and senior Michael Fowlkes have experience. South Side has just one starter returning but it is standout sophomore Austin Boucher (14 ppg), a guard with Division I potential. Five of the team's top 10 players are sophomores. Korey Joyner, a senior, and Trejean Didier, a sophomore, also have a little varsity experience. South Side was 10-12 last season.
