Behind the scenes: 'Parks and Rec' and the Colts in Indy

By David Lindquist

See Ron Swanson get up close and personal with mascot Blue, and watch Andrew Luck throw passes to youngsters in NBC footage that won't be seen in the latest "Parks and Recreation" episode made in Indianapolis.

"Fluoride," an episode made partially at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sept. 30, will air on WTHR-13 at 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21.

In the 6-minute clip above, NBC shares behind-the-scenes views of Nick Offerman (who portrays Ron Swanson on the show) and cast mates interacting with Colts players Luck, Reggie Wayne (before his season-ending knee injury), Robert Mathis, Anthony Castonzo and Adam Vinatieri.

The sitcom, set in fictional Pawnee, Ind., features a plot line in which youngsters travel to Indianapolis to participate in an NFL Play 60 event.
