'Pump Up the Volume' at IMA

The Indianapolis Museum of Art's underground parking garage is an inspired setting for a screening of "Pump Up the Volume," the 1990 film that stars Christian Slater as a pirate-radio personality spinning tunes by the Pixies, Sonic Youth and Concrete Blonde. This event is part of Butler University's "Artsfest: Outlaws & Outsiders" series.

This 40-minute film presented by National Geographic Entertainment sends viewers on a journey to the Wolong Panda Center in China, where there are ongoing efforts to secure the panda's future in the wild. The center has hit its target number of 300 giant pandas. The next challenge is reintroducing breeding populations to the wild.
