Michael Dallen Parrish, accused of sexually assaulting an Indianapolis woman and later abducting two women in Avon before raping them, kidnapped and raped two other women, prosecutors alleged Thursday.

All of the assaults occurred in a two-day span, prosecutors said.

Parrish, 37, Indianapolis, already had been charged in the Avon incident and linked to the assault on the Southeastside. Marion County Prosecutor Terry Curry said Parrish now also is accused of kidnapping two women on the Westside and raping them at a motel.

Parrish faces 63 charges in Marion and Hendricks counties, including multiple counts of kidnapping, rape, criminal deviate conduct, criminal confinement, intimidation, battery, robbery and theft.

The two days of sexual assaults occurred during what Curry called a four-day crime spree last month.

Prosecutors said the rampage began Feb. 5 when Parrish and three other people broke into a home in the 3800 block of South LaSalle Street. Prosecutors said the accomplices are Royce Edwards, 28, Anthony Breeden, 41, and Krystal Cook, 26.

In an interview with detectives, Parrish said he and the others drove to the Southeastside to shovel snow, but the job fell through. He said they were driving around the neighborhood when he and Cook talked about how they could make money, according to a probable cause affidavit. Cook pointed out the LaSalle Street home as they were looking for houses to burglarize, Parrish told detectives.

Police think Parrish sexually assaulted a 48-year-old woman while his accomplices stole her television, cellphone, iPad, laptops, wallet and other valuables. Two handguns, a 9 mm Smith & Wesson and a .380-caliber Bersa, also were stolen.

The accomplices are facing burglary, robbery, criminal confinement and battery charges. Curry said the three are not involved in any sexual assault. Earlier court documents tied Parrish to the sexual assault.

Later that day, according to new court documents made public Thursday, Parrish kidnapped two other women at gunpoint near Michigan Street and North Berwick Avenue on the Westside. One of the women said she was dropping off her friend that night when Parrish came up to her and pointed a gun at her head, the documents said. He then forced her to drive around in her van, telling her not to drive too fast or too slow and growling every time he got frustrated.

They parked the van at an empty lot, where Parrish sexually assaulted one of the women, documents said. They also stopped by a gas station, where Parrish bought condoms and bottled water with one of the women's money.

They later drove to a motel, where Parrish raped them repeatedly, documents said.

The whole time, Parrish's behavior kept switching from "crazy as hell to cool," one of the women told police. He talked about having four kids and two "baby mommas." He also fired several shots inside the van, striking one of the women in the arm, documents said. At the end of the ordeal, Parrish told one of the women to drive to the area of Michigan Street and Holt Road.

Before getting out of the van and walking away, Parrish told them to "follow their vibes, a lesson in life, and be smarter on who they run into," documents said.

The next day, Parrish kidnapped two women at the Avon Wal-Mart parking lot and later raped them in the presence of their children, a 3-year-old girl and a 17-month-old boy, according to court documents. The alleged sexual assaults happened at an apartment complex near Wal-Mart and in the women's home about 10 miles away. He also is accused of beating the boyfriend of one of the victims.

In an exclusive interview published earlier this week in The Indianapolis Star, the women said Parrish ransacked their bedrooms and forced them to pack their belongings in pillow cases. The young mothers said Parrish raped them repeatedly in the living room and in the bathroom, court affidavits said. After about six hours, Parrish left in a Chevrolet Blazer belonging to one of the women.

Two days later, Parrish robbed a woman at a Kohl's store in Plainfield, police said. That woman was not sexually assaulted.

Parrish was arrested by Avon police on Feb. 9 after he was pulled over while driving the Blazer in Indianapolis. Police said they found a .380-caliber Bersa in his possession. The weapon is thought to have been stolen from the woman on LaSalle Street.

Curry said Thursday there is no evidence showing that any of the women were specifically targeted.

Indiana Department of Correction records show that Parrish's criminal history dates to 1995, when he was convicted of criminal confinement in Marion County. He was convicted of a battery charge in 1997 and of arson in 2000, both in Sullivan County. He again served time in prison in 2003 for an intimidation charge in Marion County.

Parrish is being held in the Hendricks County Jail. His initial hearing in Marion County has not been scheduled. A pretrial conference in Hendricks County is set for April 2, and a jury trial is set for April 30.
