Candy stripes come out for Jordan Hulls' wedding

The wedding of former IU player Jordan Hulls was like a Hoosiers basketball reunion.

For a few hours of partying, dancing and celebrating on Saturday, former Indiana University basketball players suited up in those iconic candy stripe warmup pants.

Cody Zeller, Victor Oladipo, Derek Elston, Christian Watford and Will Sheehey were back in Bloomington for the marriage of their college teammate Jordan Hulls.

The ceremony, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, was all about formality -- black tuxes and crisp white shirts.

But once the wedding party had moved to Henke Hall of Champions, at the north end zone of Memorial Stadium, for the reception? The IU candy stripes went on.

Zeller, who plays for the Charlotte Hornets, tweeted that the weekend was one of the best of his life.

Oladipo, now with the Orlando Magic, paid tribute to the couple on Instagram: "May God bless and be the forefront of your marriage for all the days of your lives. This was my first wedding and I am thankful that I got the opportunity to be apart of it for two such amazing people. You guys are truly perfect for each other. Love you both always."

Hulls, who plays basketball overseas, married Aubrey Wathen, an IU graduate. Hulls proposed to Wathen in Chicago in 2013 at the top of the 1,450-foot-tall Willis Tower (formerly the Sears Tower) on the sky deck.

A wedding website dedicated to the couple is filled with IU and Bloomington chatter.

And the wedding itself? Full of crimson and cream.
