Erik Swoope has never played organized football at any level.

The Indianapolis Colts have made their list of college free agent signing official, the team inking 19 undrafted players to contracts that became official today.

Among the signings was a very notable one, tight end Erik Swoope, a former University of Miami basketball player who has no past experience playing football on any level. At 6-5 and 220 pounds, Swoope is looking to follow in the footsteps of another former Miami basketball player, Saints Pro Bowl tight end Jimmy Graham, who had just 17 catches in his lone season of football at Miami.

Also signed was Troy receiver Eric Thomas, the Sun Belt Conference's new career leader in receiving touchdowns (29), topping Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton's previous mark of 24 set at Florida International.

The Colts all along intended to attack with vigor a group of undrafted players that was expected to be quite appealing because of the depth of the draft.

To that end, 14 of the 19 signees are players who were on the Colts' draft board.

The remaining signees are:

Cornerback Qua Cox, Jackson State

Guard Marcus Hall, Ohio State

Center Jonotthan Harrison, Florida

Defensive end Tyler Hoover, Michigan State

Cornerback Kameron Jackson, Cal

Nose tackle Zach Kerr, Delaware

Quarterback Seth Lobato, Northern Colorado

Cornerback Keon Lyn, Syracuse

Safety Dewey McDonald, Calif. (Pa.)

Receiver Gregory Moore, Lane College

Defensive end Nnamdi Obukwelu, Harvard

Kicker Cody Parkey, Auburn

Tackle Eric Pike, Towson

Cornerback Darius Polk, Kent State

Running back Zurlon Tipton, Central Michigan

Guard Josh Walker, Middle Tennessee State

Receiver Tony Washington, Appalachian State
