Indianapolis-based singer Josh Kaufman is a Top 12 competitor on NBC's televised talent search "The Voice."

Tonight's episode featured Kaufman's performance of Bruno Mars' "It Will Rain," and celebrity panelist Usher picked the leader of Hoosier trio the New Etiquette to move forward.

"You did an incredible job," Usher told Kaufman. Before a commercial break, show host Carson Daly said Kaufman delivered the performance of the night.

Five members of "Team Usher" were showcased during the episode, with three advancing to the Top 12 and the "Live Shows" -- which begin airing on Monday, April 21.

>> T.J. Wilkins performed "Tell Me Something Good," popularized by Rufus & Chaka Khan.

>> Melissa Jimenez performed "Halo," popularized by Beyonce.

>> Stevie Jo performed "The Thrill is Gone," popularized by B.B. King.

>> Bria Kelly performed "Wild Horses," popularized by the Rolling Stones.

Kaufman, Kelly and Wilkins made the Top 12.
