The Indianapolis skyline is seen behind the Beacon of Hope, left, that was lit by the Indianapolis Zoo, Thursday, March 13, 2014.

Just in case you needed even more reassurance that Indianapolis is the coolest-most-awesome city, here's yet another reason to keep you comfort during the long, lonely nights.

Livability.com has ranked Indianapolis No. 3 in its Top 10 Best Downtowns 2014 list. No. 1 on the list was Fort Worth, Texas, followed by Providence, R.I. at No. 2.

The list was ranked using data that included improvement in retail and office vacancy rates, population gains, income growth, unemployment, the ratio of people who live and work in the downtown area and the overall livability of the city.

However, the list also considered non-data-driven factors like skylines and feedback from residents, keying in on things like the Indianapolis Cultural Trail, the Central Canal and The Mass Ave District.

So far, in 2014, Indianapolis has been listed, ranked and praised with the following:

52 Places to Go in 2014 (The New York Times).

Most Affordable Cities for Yuppies (locality.com).

Best Airport in North America (Airports Council International).

Best Convention City (10Best.com).

Don't worry, Carmel, there's one for you too.

Best Places for Businesses and Careers - No. 24 (Forbes.com)

And if you're really feeling vehement about the whole thing, you can always watch that video about Indianapolis' attributes that recently resurfaced.
