Cline, Walton named core Junior All-Stars

Carmel's Ryan Cline and Brownsburg's K.J. Walton headline a group of six core selections for the IndyStar Indiana Junior All-Star team, as selected by the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association.

Cline, a 6-5 guard, and Walton, a 6-3 guard, are joined by Bowman Academy's Davon Dillard, East Chicago Central's Hyron Edwards, Penn's Jordan Geist and Columbus North's Josh Speidel on the core six. Those players will participate in two exhibition games against the Indiana All-Stars in the week leading up to the All-Stars' games against Kentucky on June 13 in Lexington and June 14 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

There were 12 other juniors selected. Six will play in the exhibition game with the core six at a northern site and the other six at a southern site.
