Closings, trash pickup for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day in Indianapolis

Most government offices will be closed Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

• Federal offices: Closed.

• State offices: Closed.

• City offices: Closed.

• County offices: Closed.

Courts: Closed.

• Mail delivery: No regular mail service or collections. All branches will be closed. Regular service will resume Tuesday.

• License branches: Closed today. Branches will reopen Tuesday.

• Schools: Most closed. Check with your district.

• IndyGo: Buses will run on a Saturday schedule. The customer service center is open. Open Door routes will operate on a regular weekday schedule.

• Library: All Indianapolis Public Library locations will be closed except the InfoZone, in The Children's ­Museum, 3000 N. Meridian St. It will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Banks: Most are closed. Check your branch.

Stock markets: Closed.

The Indianapolis Star: Open.

Trash pickup

Indianapolis: No pickup today. All routes will be run one day later this week.

Beech Grove: All routes on regular schedule.

Lawrence: No ­pickup today. All routes will be run one day later this week.

Speedway: No ­pickup today. Regular routes will be run Tuesday through Thursday.
