These athletes were chosen for the week ending Nov. 21.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Randolph Southern basketball player Logan Saylor

LOGAN SAYLOR, Randolph Southern

In 3 games, Saylor scored 46 points and had 10 assists. She lead the team in scoring and helped the Lady Rebels to a 2-1 record.

GIRLS SWIMMING

Noblesville swimmer Rachel Tat.

RACHEL TAT, Noblesville

Tat swam two lifetime bests in the first meet of the season against Zionsville. Her events were the breast stroke and 200IM. Tat is also ranked in the top 10 students in her class of approximately 700 and is very active in her church.

GIRLS BOWLING

Evansville Harrison bowler Kennedy Craig

KENNEDY CRAIG, Evansville Harrison

Craig not only rolled the top game in the state for the girls last week, she had the top score over everyone with a perfect 300.

BOYS BOWLING

Angola bowler Destin Kuhn

DESTIN KUHN, Angola

Kuhn had the top game and series in the state last week, 286/532. He was on last year's championship team.

FOOTBALL

East Central quarterback Luke Patton prepares to deliver a pass against Lawrenceburg.

LUKE PATTON, East Central

Patton led East Central into the Class 4A state championship game with 132 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns, while also completing 8-of-11 passes for 61 yards a score and an interception in the 21-0 victory over Roncalli. For the season, the quarterback leads East Central with 1,712 rushing yards and 33 touchdowns, while also throwing for 1,404 yards, 9 touchdowns and 7 interceptions on 106 completions in 194 attempts.

WRESTLING

Pike Central wrestler Jaylon Owens

JAYLON OWENS, Pike Central

Owens went 4-0 at the Trojan Duals in the 182 lb class over the weekend. He won all four of his matches by fall in the first period. The final times of his matches were: :20, :37, 1:20 and 1:05. Owens was weight class champ and was voted as the tournament MVP by the coaches after the meet.
