The second tech company in two days has announced a notable job-creating expansion in the Indianapolis area.

Health-care cloud platform provider hc1.com said Friday it wants to hire up to 175 people by 2019 — almost tripling its workforce — as it expands its headquarters in Northwest Technology Park at Zionsville Road and West 96th Street.

The Zionsville tech company said it will spend $2.5 million to lease and renovate an additional 9,466 square feet of space in the park by the end of the year. It currently uses 16,626 square feet of space in the park.

It’s the third major expansion in the past three years for hc1.com, which employs more than 90 people, including 70 in Indiana.

The new jobs will include software engineers, sales executives, product solution architects, client success managers, reporting analysts and operations personnel. Applications are at www.hc1.com/careers.

The Indiana Economic Development Corp. offered hc1.com up to $3 million in tax credits and up to $100,000 in training grants based on the company’s job-creation plans. Boone County approved additional incentives.

On Thursday, Interactive Intelligence announced plans to expand into a new $28 million office building near I-465 and West 71st Street and hire up to 430 workers over the next two years.
