FISHERS — The Town Council unanimously approved the terms of a multi-million-dollar economic development deal for Sun King Brewery on Monday night.

Omar Robinson, co-owner and president of Sun King in Indianapolis, revealed potential designs for the new taproom and brewery while acknowledging the beer company's potential to become a landmark in Hamilton County. The total cost of the facility is expected to top off at $10 million. At least $2.3 million will come from economic development incentives. Up to $225,000 in bond proceeds will go to trails and paths improvements for Fishers.

"We really want this to be a destination for people in Indiana," Robinson told the council on Monday night. "People come from all over the world to see craft breweries."

The town expects an annual impact of $19.5 million a year. The new campus, located in Delaware Park, will have a capacity to produce 90,000 barrels of beer annually.
