Any live sporting event is better when you watch it with the snark and sarcasm of Twitter, and the Super Bowl is no exception. We'll be updating this all evening with the best tweets about commercials, halftime and everything else not related to actual football.

If you want a glass of wine at the Super Bowl ... good luck.

Tom Brady was not warmly received during the introduction of past MVPs.

That about sums it up.

We aren't sure how to feel about this.

The Michelob Ultra ad might not have found its mark.

A commercial where the lure of Doritos caused a baby to dive out of the womb caused mixed reactions, to say the least.

But a lovely, sweet ad from Audi on grandfathers, fathers and David Bowie drew almost universal praise.

Mountain Dew's "Puppy Monkey Baby" mutant was memorable, but also somewhat horrifying. But kids seem to like it:

A Buick convertible ad had some women (and men!) rolling their eyes as women dove for wedding bouquets.

A Quicken Rocket Mortgage loan commercial had some people wondering if the company remembered that whole Great Recession thing.

A Steven Tyler portrait made of Skittles also fell into the "nightmare fuel" genre of Super Bowl commercials.

Steve Harvey played off his massive mistake earlier in the year with an ad that earned lots of fans.

This thing continued to haunt us.

A company spent a very large sum of money to talk to us about constipation.

It's halftime! And everyone agreed that Coldplay was like the opening act.

Ad critics approved of the ad Hoosier Jay Mattingly worked on.

Some people were not thrilled with multiple commercials on fecal difficulties.

Heinz' commercial featuring dachshunds dressed as hot dogs was a crowd pleaser.

These sheep singing Queen got a lot of love.

An NFL commercial featuring singer Seal and children conceived after Super Bowls ("Super Bowl Babies") left some feeling uncomfortable.

A commercial for toe nail fungus left us all wishing for fewer gross ads.

Helen Mirren's anti-drinking-and-driving ad had an important message, but c'mon, like she really drinks Budweiser.

And while this story isn't about football, we can't leave without a little nod to Peyton.
