ALL-USA Indiana Athletes of the Week (Feb. 21-27)

IndyStar is recognizing its four high school American Family Insurance All-USA Indiana athletes of the week. These athletes were chosen for the week ending Feb. 27.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

TYASHA HARRIS, Heritage Christina

Harris averaged 23.5 points per game this season and led her team to an overall 26-4 record. In the 2015 season, Harris led her team to a state championship in Class 2A, and this year to a Class 3A championship win over North Harrison on Feb. 27. She finished the game with 27 points, four rebounds seven steals and two assists.

BOYS BASKETBALL

CRAIG YOUNG, Fort Wayne Wayne

In the contest against Fort Wayne Canterbury on Feb. 21, Young scored 19 points, had 15 rebounds and two assists. On Feb. 27, the freshman also finished the game against Richmond with 17 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal.

BOYS SWIMMING

CHANDLER BRAY, Avon

Bray won the state title in the 100 breaststroke while setting a national record. He was also a member of the state record-setting 200 freestyle relay and state championship 200 medley relay. Bray  earned the Herman F. Kellar Mental Attitude Award.

GYMNASTICS

MARIA TRAHIN, Bishop Dwenger

Trahin won the vault with 9.70 and the all-around with a 37.625 in the sectional meet on Feb. 27.
