A Hamilton County court suspended Colts owner Jim Irsay's driver's license for one year starting May 27 in the wake of his arrest.

Police and prosecutors have declined to talk about the case, but recently released documents confirmed the license suspension.

Irsay refused a blood test after he was arrested March 16, while driving in Carmel.

Indiana law mandates a one-year driver's license suspension for such a refusal. Carmel police later obtained a warrant ordering Irsay to submit to a blood draw following his arrest. A nurse took two vials of blood.

Irsay is charged with two misdemeanor counts of impaired driving. His initial hearing is June 19.
