Head to Indy's Southeastside — Fountain Square and Fletcher Place — for fusion flavors, food and fun. Here are 10 places to go for a sample of Southeastside swag.

1. The Hi Fi

Listen to music and rock the night away at the Hi Fi in Fountain Square. This nightclub is tucked away inside of the Murphy Arts Center, 1043 Virginia Ave.

Traffic is never more fun!

2. The Pickled Pedaler

The Pickled Pedaler, 602 Virginia Ave., opened over St. Patrick's Day weekend. The 14-passenger pedal-powered pub sends revelers on an adventure through the Circle City. You can reserve the pedaler online at thepickledpedaler.com.

Lilly's Soap Kitchen moved from Fletcher Place to Fountain Square earlier this year.

3. Lilly's Soap Kitchen

The soap looks and smells like cake. Lilly's moved from Fletcher Place to 1028 Virginia Ave. in Fountain Square earlier this year. The soap comes in various shapes, fragrances and sizes. Seasonal fragrances include, pumpkin spice, autumn fig and spiced apple cider.

4. Liberation Roasting Co.

Fair trade coffee is for sale at Liberation Roasting Co. The Fountain Square coffee company has opened a storefront at 1354 Shelby St., Suite C.

5. Veloworks Urban Cyclery

Andre Phillips of Indianapolis owns and operates a full-service bike shop at 1354 Shelby St., Suite A. The bike shop sells coffee, too.

6. Rook

Executive chef Carlos Salazar is cooking up contemporary Asian dishes at this Fletcher Place restaurant. Located at 719 Virginia Ave., the eatery is connected to an urban development known as The Hinge.

The Thunderbird is named after the long-gone Thunderbird Nite Club.

7. Thunderbird

The Thunderbird has landed. The restaurant and bar at 1127 Shelby St. serves up savory cuisine with a little bit of rock 'n' roll on the side. BLTs at Thunderbird are topped with bacon, arugula, fried green tomatoes, lemon basil aioli and egg. Yum.

8. Milktooth

Sweet tea fried chicken, pastries, coffee and more are available at the recently opened Milktooth of Fletcher Place. The breakfast eatery, 534 Virginia Ave., is open daily, except Tuesdays.

9. Chilly Water Brewing Co.

Fill up your growler with a Sweet Revenge Pale Ale or Breakfast in America Oatmeal Stout at Chilly Water Brewing Co.. Skip DuVall opened the brewery earlier this year at 719 Virginia Ave., Suite 105.

10. Hotel Tango Whiskey

Bartenders at Hotel Tango are serving artisan whiskey, vodka, gin and rum. Located in the Fletcher Place neighborhood, Hotel Tango is the first craft distillery to open on the Southeastside.
