The Foo Fighters are playing Klipsch Music Center next summer, and the rock band is taking measures to keep tickets in the hands of fans rather than ticket brokers.

Tickets for the Foo Fighters' Aug. 27 show will be available for purchase online on Dec. 4, but the public can visit the Klipsch Music Center box office, 12880 E. 146th St., on Saturday, Nov. 22, for a special pre-sale session.

Tickets, $41.50 to $74, will be available for purchase, with a two-ticket limit per person.

The Foo Fighters are billing the event, which is happening at 25 cities on the band's 2015 tour, as "Beat the Bots" -- a reference to ticket-broker programs that "clog online queues and snatch up huge amounts of tickets (for resale)," according to a press release.

The Klipsch parking lot will open at 9 a.m., and sales will begin at 10 a.m. Anyone who arrives after 3 p.m. will not have a chance to purchase tickets.

Led by Dave Grohl, the Foo Fighters are promoting their new album, "Sonic Highways." The band hasn't performed in Indiana since a 2008 show at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
