For $3,000, get your own Indy 500 tiny home experience
If "glamping" is a little too rough for you, there will be boutique tiny homes available for rent at the 2018 Indianapolis 500.
The four-night, four-person package announced Monday morning includes four general admission tickets to Carb Day, Legends Day, and Indy 500 Race Day. Then there's the tiny house itself, complete with dining table, refrigerator, power, personal shower, flushable toilet and a stove top.
In total, the four-guest, four-night Tiny House Hotel package is $3,000. That breaks down to about $187 per person each night.
"We're always looking to provide unique experiences for our guests," IMS President J. Douglas Boles said in a release. "The Tiny House Hotel is an exciting new offering in May during the Indianapolis 500."
That's twice the price of the "glamping" package that had gained popularity in recent race seasons. For a queen bed package in one of IMS' luxury tents, it's $1,500 for four nights.
