Indianapolis police are asking for the public's help as they work to identify the suspect in an early Friday shooting and robbery that left 52-year-old Susan Seel dead.

Investigators found Seel, a clerk at the McClure gas station in the 5300 block of Rockville Road, outside the business shortly after 3 a.m. Police said she was suffering from a gunshot wound to the head and was rushed IU Health Methodist Hospital where she later died.

After the shooting, the suspect removed a cash box from the register and fled the store on foot, police said.

The man was last seen wearing a navy blue Nike sweatshirt with white draw strings, black pants and white sneakers, police said. He was armed with a handgun.
