Andrew Luck comes clean about showering
UPDATE: Andrew Luck talked about Matt Hasselbeck's comments right away in Friday's press conference. Just a little friendly banter.

In just his second day on the job at ESPN, ex-Colts quarterback Matt Hasselbeck already has spilled the beans on his friend and former teammate Andrew Luck.
No. Not really. But he did reveal some funny things this morning on ESPN's "Mike and Mike" radio show about the Colts charismatic quarterback, including Luck and his lack of hygiene.
"He’s kind of like a college kid, still," Hasselbeck said. "He takes pride in not showering, kind of a thing. ... He's grungy."
Unorthodox? Sure. But that's just Luck, Hasselbeck said.

"There’s definitely goofiness," Hasselbeck said. "I remember getting ready to play the New Orleans Saints or somebody (last season), and he wanted to talk about the political landscape in Europe for the first five minutes of the (quarterbacks) meeting. Something big was going on in Scotland. ... The conversations in our quarterbacks room were very different than the conversations in the quarterbacks’ rooms around the league, I’m sure."
But it wasn't just the quarterbacks room where Hasselbeck got to know Luck. The young Colts signal-caller used to go over to Hasselbeck's house for dinner, though, Luck usually preferred to spend his time there with other members of the Hasselbeck household.
"I mean Andrew Luck is closer in age to my kids than he is to me, so if he’d come over for dinner, naturally the conversations would become Andrew and my kids talking and then me and my wife would basically have a conversation with ourselves."

But Hasselbeck made sure to put Luck to good use while he was there.
He was like a babysitter "slash tutor," Hasselbeck said.
"But it wasn’t just Luck. We had like three or four Stanford guys (on the Colts)," Hasselbeck said. "And I had a little distribution list, and I’d send out a little math homework. I’ll tell you what, in fifth grade, math gets kind of tough. And now these guys are spread out on other teams, so the distribution list is not changing. As we get older, the homework gets harder. I’m not afraid to say it, but my kids get upset — I think that was in the newspaper one time and teachers said, ‘Hey, tell your parents that you can’t get Andrew Luck to help you with your homework."
