Sprint Cup Series driver Kyle Busch (18) celebrates winning the Brickyard 400 Sunday, July 24, 2016, afternoon at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Next year’s Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway shifts to NBC with a starting airtime of 3 p.m. on July 23, NASCAR announced Wednesday.

Sunday’s Sprint Cup Series race on NBCSN drew a 3.1 rating and 5.2 million viewers, the best numbers for the cable outlet since it began broadcasting races and the highest for any NASCAR race on cable since November 2014.

Viewership peaked at a rating of 3.6 and 6.1 million viewers in the 6:15 p.m. block, part of how it became the most-watched Brickyard since 2013.

The Xfinity race will remain a 3 p.m. Saturday (July 22) start.
