High school football: Top performers in Week 6

Here are the players who delivered some of the best performances this week:

David Bell, Warren Central

Bell couldn't be contained Friday night, catching four touchdowns in the first half of Class 6A No. 2 Warren Central's 66-14 blowout win over Pike. He finished 189 receiving yards on just five catches, including a 90-yard touchdown catch. The 6-1 sophomore currently has college offers from Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Indiana and Iowa, according to 247sports.com.

Carter McGinnis, Guerin Catholic

McGinnis rushed for 213 yards and three touchdowns in the 42-27 win over Greenwood. The senior also caught a pass from Eagles quarterback Luke Keller to give him his fourth score of the night.

Bryant Fitzgerald, Avon

Fitzgerald rushed for 157 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries and helped Avon charge to a 38-3 win over Fishers. He also made one catch for 49 yards, second most receiving yards in the game.

Avery Hall, Ritter

Hall took 38 carries for 246 yards and two touchdowns to lift Cardinal Ritter to a 25-14 upset win at home over No. 7 Triton Central. Hall averaged just 66.6 yards per game with 333 total rushing yards and two touchdowns through the first five weeks but proved to be the dominant force in the conference win for the Raiders.

Jacob Jones, Speedway

Jones took 10 carries for 137 yards and five touchdowns in the 38-6 win over Marshall, scoring on runs of 16, 5, 34, 2 and 36 yards. He also made one catch for 27 yards, his biggest catch this season. Friday was Jones' fifth game this season rushing for more 100 yards.
