Update, 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10:

As of midday Saturday, Twitter has suspended the fake Chuck Jones account.

Original story, Friday, Dec. 9:

In the days following a pair of tweets sent by President-elect Donald Trump jabbing a local union and its president, Chuck Jones, a Twitter account bearing his name and photo has surfaced.

Jones, president of the United Steelworkers Local 1999, was in the national spotlight earlier this week after Trump posted a series of tweets firing back at his open criticism of the Carrier Corp. deal keeping some of the more than 1,000 jobs at risk of being moved to Mexico in Indianapolis.

But Jones says the account isn't his.

Jones told IndyStar he "definitely did not" create the account, which had nearly 8,500 followers by Friday night.

The account posted two tweets Friday that directly addressed the president-elect.

Jones said he was working to get the account deleted.
