Wings!

For one week only, you'll be able to eat a whole bunch of half-price wings, and help out a charity.

Sound too good to be true? Nah. It's Indy Wing Week, brought to you by NUVO. The wingstravaganza is their follow-up to last year's Indy Burger Week.

Here's how it works:

25 Indy-area restaurants are offering up one specific kind of wings for half-price during the week of Feb. 20-26. That might be Big Lug Canteen & Brewery's Nashville hot wings, or Tavern on South's duck wings or ClusterTruck's classic Buffalo wings. All of these -- and 23 others -- are half price.

But it gets better. 20 percent of the restaurants' registration fees and sponsorship money goes directly to Second Helpings. Some restaurants are choosing to donate more money to the culinary training, food rescue and hunger relief organization. So you get to eat and another hungry Hoosier does, too.

NUVO would like to remind you to be cool during all this. Try somewhere new for wings. Read the restrictions; if a place is dine-in only, they're dine-in only. Go with it. Be patient  -- some places might run out of wings, there might be long waits. It happens. Get a drink and some sides to help the place out, and of course, make sure you tip on the full price of the wings, not the discount. Don't be that guy.
