People are starting to notice that Indianapolis is pretty awesome.

According to a reader survey from Travel + Leisure magazine, Indianapolis is the fourth most underrated city in the U.S. Visitors loved our "exceptionally friendly residents" -- Hoosier hospitality for the win -- and low prices. Our craft beer scene, wealth of sporting events and the Cultural Trail also earned shout-outs making Indy an undiscovered gem.

Travel + Leisure isn't the first magazine to see that cool things are happening here. Condé Nast Traveler also hailed Indy as an underrated food city.
