Andrew Dakich flips commitment, will join Holtmann at Ohio State

Michigan grad transfer Andrew Dakich flipped his commitment from Quinnipiac to play his final year for Ohio State and coach Chris Holtmann.

ESPN's Jeff Goodman reported the move Monday afternoon, adding that Holtmann needed help in his backcourt. As a walk-on with the Wolverines, Dakich averaged .4 points and .4 assists over three seasons.

He played 4.6 minutes per in 23 games in 2015-16, before redshirting last season.

Dakich, who was all-conference for Zionsville High School, is the son of former Indiana University guard Dan Dakich. He went on to coach at Bowling Green University and today hosts The Dan Dakich Show on WNFI 1070 The Fan.
