Here is a look at the high school boys basketball Fab 15, a ranking of the top teams in Central Indiana:

1. Ben Davis (1-0): The Giants finally opened their season on Saturday after postponing two games due to the state football championship run. Four players scored in double figures as Ben Davis knocked off Southport 66-41 on Saturday night. The Giants host Franklin Central on Wednesday and play in Terre Haute on Saturday against Terre Haute North and South. Previous: 1.

2. Lawrence North (2-0): The Wildcats pummeled Park Tudor (87-49) and Marion (90-66) in their first two games this week and senior Kevin Easley surpassed 1,000 points for his career. The schedule does not let up this week as Lawrence North is at Lawrence Central on Wednesday and plays Culver Academy in the Forum Credit Union Tipoff Classic on Saturday at Southport. Previous: 2.

3. Hamilton Southeastern (3-0): The Royals opened the season with a resounding win over Muncie Central (83-49) and completed a weekend sweep with wins over Avon (70-46) and Class 4A second-ranked Fort Wayne North Side (75-67 in overtime). HSE has good balance and depth, will be a team to watch with difficult games this week at North Central (Friday) and Center Grove on Saturday at Southport. Previous: 4.

4. Center Grove (4-0): The Trojans are off to a great start, posting wins over Southport (70-37) and Bloomington North (77-68) over the weekend. This will be a big week with games on Friday at home against Pike and Saturday in the Forum Credit Union Tipoff Classic against Hamilton Southeastern. Previous: 5.

5. Zionsville (3-0): After a win over Carmel in the opener, the Eagles took care of Westfield (64-38) on Friday and Western Boone (77-50) on Saturday. Junior Isaiah Thompson is averaging 25.3 points through three games. Zionsville plays at Fort Wayne South Side on Saturday in a one-game week. Previous: 8.

6. Carmel (2-1): The Greyhounds rebounded from the loss to Zionsville with resounding wins over Lawrence Central (63-49) and Pendleton Heights (59-28) over the weekend. Luke Heady had 31 points on 19-for-22 free-throw shooting in the win over LC. Previous: 3.

7. Cathedral (2-0): This will be a big week for the Irish with home games against Warren Central on Friday and Brebeuf Jesuit on Saturday. Ball State recruit Jarron Coleman scored 31 points in a 75-58 win over Howe on Saturday. Previous: 6.

8. Brownsburg (3-1): The Bulldogs have solid wins over Pike (63-49) and Culver Academy (44-31) with the only loss coming to nationally-ranked LaLumiere (66-45) on Friday. Just one game this week – at Northwest on Friday. Previous: 9.

9. Warren Central (2-0): Warren Central will get a tough test this week at Cathedral on Friday night. The Warriors pummeled Franklin Central 74-42 on Saturday as junior Jesse Bingham led the way with 16 points and five rebounds. Previous: 11.

10. Pike (1-1): The Red Devils bounced back from a season-opening loss to Brownsburg (63-49) with a 65-60 home win over Crown Point on Saturday. Another tough test awaits on Friday night at Center Grove. Tindley transfer Hunter White is averaging 11.0 points and 4.5 rebounds. Previous: 7.

11. North Central (2-0): The Panthers have wins over Metropolitan (71-64) and Richmond (70-65), but we should know more about this team in the next couple of weeks. North Central hosts Hamilton Southeastern on Friday in its only game this week. Senior Donald Lee is averaging 21.0 points through two games. Previous: 10.

12. Lawrence Central (1-1): The Bears rolled over Fishers (70-38) in their opener before falling to Carmel (63-49) on Friday in a foul-plagued game. Sophomore guard Nijel Pack is averaging 13.0 points through two games. Tough games this week against rival Lawrence North on Wednesday at home and at Howe on Friday. Previous: 12.

13. Brebeuf Jesuit (2-0): After wins over Broad Ripple (71-46) and Herron (99-34), the schedule ramps up considerably this week. The Braves host Cardinal Ritter on Tuesday, host Culver Academy on Friday and are at Cathedral on Saturday. Previous: 14.

14. Crispus Attucks (2-0): The defending Class 3A champions are off to a good start with a win over Danville (70-58) on Saturday. The Tigers host Cardinal Ritter on Friday and West Lafayette on Saturday. Jamal Harris is averaging 19.0 points and 4.5 steals. Previous: 15.

15. Roncalli (3-0): The Rebels have rolled through their early schedule with wins over Perry Meridian (66-35), Guerin Catholic (65-49) and Covenant Christian (90-47). Roncalli is shooting 61 percent from the field and 46 percent from the 3-point line. Roncalli is at Whiteland on Friday and hosts Lafayette Central Catholic on Saturday. Previous: NR.
